Honestly, could be 2 days or three weeks. Average is 3-4 days from once they get it to send it off.

The transfer of the case from NVC to BKK takes about a week. All cases sent to BKK go first to the consulate section across the street from the embassy. It takes them about 3 days to transfer the case to the visa section. This is why people begin to think the case is lost when they contact the visa section for progress. That section reports the case isnt there & yet you know it should be. Try to give them time to do what they have done many times before & all will go well.
If you or your lady need info from the visa section she can go to any post office & buy a special pin number that allows her to call directly into the embassy.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
