How long did your K1 process take?

Just curious how many had shorter times. I read that some people have shorter and longer processing times. I also realize there are timelines and processing times but please vote on the poll I would like to see %

Took just about 4 months - Approved 5 days after my NOA1.

I no longer remember precisely. From the day they received the petition to petition approval was less than a month. I remember that because it was unexpectedly quick. But then it took Mumbai forever to send my wife (then fiancee) the packet (I forget what it's called) and then it took them forever to schedule an interview.

So < 1 month + (forever * 2) = ?

I looked at my timeline. I-129F sent Jan 14, 2004, approved April 13, visa interview and approval July 22, 04. Visa received in mail July 27, 04. About 6 months and 2 weeks.

Mine could have taken less than the 6 months it took but the police check took longer than it was supposed to (I have no criminal record, and an uncommon name it shouldn't have taken so long).

3 months from NOA1 to NOA2 was the average when I applied and that's how long mine took. 2 weeks to get P3 and my interview was 3 weeks from when I received P4 (a week after sending P3). So about a month of waiting was because of my delays.

Three months exactly, from NOA#1 to NOA#2. Of course that was before we joined Visa Journey.

She had a visa in hand after six months. She did have to go back the next week to get her fingerprints redone after the field interview at the embassy. That was the only delay in the process beyond our control.

I-129f filed June 19th, 2003; NOA 2 December 30, 2003 (192 days); K-1 approved March 30, 2004 so just over 9 months. The longest part was waiting for the I-129f approval - over 6 months. (Add in nearly 23 months to approve AOS, including 9 months after a transfer to CSC and no interview; 12 months to approve removal of conditions, also no interview, and 4 months for citizenship - no RFE's, no returned petitions, no denials - no nothin' but a lot of waiting).

Answered for my first foray through the process. Not the current one.

Took about six months total. Three months from NOA1 -> NOA2, a month to get to NVC and out to the embassy (it was around x-mas time so this wasn't unusual). Another few weeks to return the paperwork. A little over a month for a medical/interview date, and then another couple of weeks for the visa itself.

Our process took about 6 months - from sending out the I-129F to being approved at the embassy. It may have been shorter but this happened over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Carnaval in Brazil. That could have slowed down the process a bit.
