Is uscis closed for the week between christmas and the new years

hi to all ,
i just wanted to know that i am planing to mail my i 751 on 12/27/2010 . i just wanted to know if uscis is open the week between christmas and the new years .please reply thanks.

I looked up the holiday closings for the Federal government employees and the only days listed were Friday Dec 24th to observe Christmas and Friday Dec 31st to observe New Years..but this does not mean that maybe half of the employees have taken vacation days or PTO to be off the whole till Monday..
