Hi julgarmav,

Thanks for the reply, so what do my parents need to do, can they just go to SLMC and give their case number or is there a form that they need to fill up first and what form is it? I hope your journey will be over soon.

hi... they just need to bring a 2x2 id pics..4pcs. with whte bckround nad the fee for the medical exam.. they just have to show their case no. and as i read before, some tried to have their medical in advance and it depends on the guardon duty if they can come in. just tell them to be consistent that they need to the medical in advance...

yeah, i'm praying so hard for d the end of my journey... u can also try to read some journals here...or some testimony regarding the advance medical, i think i read it from someone here eh..jz scan

Hi! I'm on my 6th week of my sputum culture. I'm really praying hard for a negative result! I'm going to call SLMEC for my result on Oct. 8 (Friday). Thank you for the useful info on how soon SLMEC schedules the vaccination and the interview, but as we can deduce from it, the dates they'd give me would depend on the volume of work they (clinic and embassy) have by the time that my result is ready.

I'm posting this because I need to work on my schedule. This is my concern: I'd be very busy on the weeks following Oct. 8, and my next available non-working days would be Oct. 19 and 20 (when I could have my interview), then the days after Nov. 10 :-( As you can see, these available days are already relatively far from Oct. 8. Now, talking about the vaccination before the interview, I can go to SLMEC even on my busy working days BUT hope to get my vaccines before 8 am. After 8, I need to be out because I teach large groups of people and cannot be late.

These are my questions:

1.) Is it possible to get vaccinated before 8 am?

2.) How early do they start accepting people for vaccination? I can start lining up as early as 4 am :-) Or is this too early?

3.) What's considered to be a low-volume day for vaccinations? For medical exam, definitely not Mondays.

4.) How early do they start giving vaccines?

5.) Do they give priority to post-sputum test people?

6.) How many hours did your parents/relatives spend inside SLMEC for the vaccination?

7.) What else do I need to do after receiving my vaccines, and how much time would it take?

I'll worry about the interview date next :-)

Sorry if this sounds too much. I live in Bicol and go to Manila and other provinces to give lectures (that's why I'd be so busy after Oct. 8) and so I really need to study my schedule, otherwise, I might end up being interviewed in November! I should fly to the US on Nov. 22.

Thank you so much in advance!

My parents' interview is scheduled for May 6 but when they had their medical done, they saw something in my mom's x-ray and asked her to come back for 3 consecutive days (May 4-6). She was told that St. Luke's will reschedule their interview at the embassy. My question is how long of a delay is this going to be? If after those 3 days and the tests comes out negative, will they have to wait for a long time for interview? Has anyone been through the same situation? I

To be honest with you it's a lot of process I have the same situation I sent my dad 3 times to Manila cuz they don't live in Manila . Doctor told him was negative to those 3 days but the last one he waited 4 weeks doctor told him positive result which is the final result gets confusing though lol so doctor told him another scenarios that he has to wait another 6 months to get treated in manila to see the doctor daily basis in order for them to continue the visa interview honestly his visa interview supposed to be done last October 19th of 2017 but because the sputum came out positive so he they wanted him to stay in Manila for the 6 months treatment whereas if he goes home he has to get treated 6 months as well but he has to wait extra one year omg ! That's how hard to process the sputum exam ! I filed to petition my dad since 2015 , I have been in the US for over 13 years none of my blood family come over here . I really hope soon they will release the medical result he needs to bring with him during his visa interview . I'm full American citizen and I know how it works ! Just be more patience !
