I-129F NOA1 taking way too long

I had received noticed that my petition for I-129F was received on March 15th at the California Center. It is now April 11th and no word of NOA1. I checked the website and it is still on "Initial Review". OK what now? I looked on the average NOA1 processing time and it is only 9 business days. I'm at about 20 business days now. Should I call these guys or what?

Thanks,

Paul

OK maybe I'm way confused. I did get a letter and it is a I-797C. It is basically saying that they received my I-129f and cashed my checked and they are in the middle of processing my petition. I'm actually looking for a notice that is stamped NOA1. Is the I-797C the NOA1 notice?

Is there something I should be sending while I'm waiting for NOA2?

Nope. Mostly just waiting. You can begin to use the K1 guide to look into the paperwork you will need to get together for the interview stage (affidavit of support, etc.). Good luck and best wishes for a speedy approval!

Takes about 3-4 months for the 2nd NOA... you just get to sit tight and do nothing now really. Good luck with your journey!

Invictus..

Out of the night that covers me,

Black as the Pit from pole to pole,

I thank whatever gods may be

For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

Looms but the Horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll.

I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.

Not posting this to get hopes up, but if you are at CSC, do know that NOA2's have moved quite quickly for some, and that it has become a crunch (happy crunch, but). If there's some way of remaining patient and non-panicked if your NOA2 takes several months, also keep in mind that it could come in as few as 30 days (mine was 32) and that you may want to be ready for that as well.

The surprise of our early approval has been mostly positive, but it has also made us have to scramble a little. Be prepared for whatever eventuality, is the point. Affidavit stuff, mostly.
