I have been checking the status of my I-130 fifty times a day :D but it doesn't have any touch update :(

It's already a week now that they started reviewing my case. I will wait for another week and send them an email again.

Thanks SweetApple.

So my dear malvika,

what is going on??? anything new with your I-130. I really hope I'll hear good news from you. Did you see June 2010 moved to Jan 2008 - incredible almost moved 2 years in three months LOL so happy. Now just you have to either call and make USCIS go back to work on your case ASAP. If that's not good enough you'll have to find a lawyer maybe and file a motion to a judge to "make the USCIS officer do their job and give you a decision" this is the last resort. Let me know.

I-130 Sent : 08/15/2006 F2A (spouse of LPR)

Hey SweetApple,

Good to see you. I have been getting in touch with TSC where my I-130 was transferred to. Their last email reply (on 05/11) says "the case hasn't been assigned to anyone yet, but it's in incoming work, just be patient for little longer and it will happen". That's what it says.

I am seriously screwd up, people whose PD is Feb 07 already got their interview date at their local embassy, and mine is Jan 07 and I-130 still not approved. This is so unfortunate.

Now I don't have any option except waiting for their action in my case.

Thanks a lot !

Hello malvika,

Trust me I totally understand how you feel, but keep positive and soon, very very soon you'll have the approval in your hands. The NVC process is quite quick if you do most of the things online.

I really don't understand USCIS how they work taking care of new cases instead of the of ones who have been collecting dust for 3-4 years. :crying:

Just keep your spirits up and have faith that they will give your approval asap.

Best of luck and keep us updated.

Hi SweetApple,

I hope all is well with you.

Well I thank you for your beautiful and inspiring words. I have been waiting for their decision and keeping my faith alive. but it's really rediculous that they take such a long long time to review a case that's already outside current processing time.

Hi SweetApple,

Hope all is well with you.

I have still been waiting for my I-130 to approve.. It's already 2 months now that I sent an email to Texas Service Center. They keep telling me to be patient. In their last email they said they are still waiting for my file. Last thursday I sent an email to USCIS Headquarter Office of the Service Center describing my situation but have not heard anything from them yet.

I am helpless now. Don't know what to do :(

Good afternoon,

Your case was transferred from the Vermont Service Center (VSC) January 4, 2010 to the Los Angeles District Office (LOS). It does appear that LOS approved your case on April 5, 2010. For more information on your case and whether it was sent to the National Visa Center, you will have to contact LOS. Their contact information is as follows:
