OFF TOPIC

HAve you ever seen a ladyboy in Thailand? They are generally a lot prettier and more feminine than a real girl these days. And with being Asian, large feet or adam's apple arent the problem since asian has pretty small frame.. so I doubt a lady boy and women with masculine features are alike at all.

Too bad i'm at work or I'd have some pics to show

Yeah, check out the Miss Tiffany's show. It's well worth the 800 baht or whatever, just as good as Vegas, and who cares they used to be men.

I'm replying to obtain an email subscription to this thread (I can't find where to do that when I actually create a thread).

If someone would like to show me where, outside of the quick reply feature, I can subscribe, that'd be great. I'm talking about when I click on regular "reply," and get taken to a totally separate page. Where do I click to get the subscription, then?

Ok, now that I've vented my frustrations against DianandVicky, I need clarification:

Which jurisdiction needs to recognize her legal gender as "female?" Her home country, or my American state?

Or, is it both?

You have to be able to be legally married in your state. I'm assuming (but don't know) that the Phils consider the gender to be male

The home country first must recognize the changed gender. Then, the US State must recognize marriage between a male and a transgendered (now female). At least that's how I understand the article cited.

What they're saying is that USCIS will approve a petition for a transgendered foreigner if the State in which the marriage will occur will recognize such a marriage. The rub come in with the requirement for a birth citificate and a passport. The birth certificate is going to indicate male. Unless the home country will issue a passport to the born male as a female, there's not going to be any visa.

When filing the initial petition, you'll need to document the transgender with officially issued documents from the home country. Then for the marriage license, you'll do the same.

Reading the thread with legal interest, but also educational as I'd always believed (and I'm not a sheltered person by any stretch of the imagination) that shemales were lady boys.. but the quoted question above rather distracted me.

How on earth does one go about finding this out without spending a LOT of time being incredibly specific and potentially insulting. I am a believer in there being someone for everyone, but wow, that would be a laborious and challenging quest.

It's not as laborious and challenging to find a ladyboy, convince him (later her) to get a sex change and move to a different country as your fiance?

There's a lot of masculine-looking woman. And in my experience maybe 20-25% of women like ####### sex... so not that hard really.

My question was more of a parable anyway. If the answer is no, I don't want a woman period... then this should be illuminating to the OP.

So, it's hopeless? If the Philippines doesn't want to recognize the change (which is unlikely, considering the presence of the Catholic church in that country), then she's a man? Period?

The only way to do this, is if she comes to the US on her own accord?

Like, I guess I could sponsor her a work visa and hire her as a household maid, then go to somewhere like Massechusetts and get a gay marriage. :?

What do you think of that?

Why is your flag said China but you are talking about the person in the Philippines?

You could always go live with her in her country. I dont think a maid would qualify for work visa, but I dont know, obviously.

Typographical error. Don't know how to fix it.

Unfortunately, that's not a viable option, either (long story, don't ask). It would be much more feasible for me to just go to the Philippines about four times a year, and be with her.

Back on topic, sorry if I offended you really, not trying to, just trying to understand the impetus. If you're attracted to a cute asian woman, why not pick a cute asian woman and save the ton of hassle this will surely be.

If you fell in love with a person regardless of gender, certainly can understand and accept that. The initial post made it seem very non-specific like you were looking to find a lady-boy to do this with, not already in love with a specific person.

It's difficult to get a work visa. You need to show that there is no US citizen that will take the position before you can apply for permission to hire a foreigner.

It's almost impossible to pull a visitor visa out of the Phils, unless your mate is wealthy (has a home and/ or business to show ties to Phils.), which is doubtful being they don't have the money for the surgery.

The most likely way you'll be together is to either move there, or let them get a OFW work visa to some country you both wouldn't mind living in, Singapore, Australia. I wouldn't recommend the middle east, not much tolerance there.

I'm not just attracted to "cute Asian women." That too, but when I met my fiance, I fell in love with HER! Now, women (who are real women) have responded to emails that were several days old, and I have to break the news to them.

I won't tell you again: Do NOT try and talk me out of this.

If you fell in love with a person regardless of gender, certainly can understand and accept that. The initial post made it seem very non-specific like you were looking to find a lady-boy to do this with, not already in love with a specific person.

I wouldn't be interested in her as more than a friend if she were a bakla (a masculine, Philippino gay man, more akin to the traditional Western gay man).

However, she's NOT A MAN! She was born with the WRONG gender! Sex change or not, we both consider her a woman at heart. That's what counts as far as I'm concerned.

If I were just interested in a lady boy, don't you think I'd just fly over to the Philippines or Thailand (the their embassies allow Americans to stay up to 3 weeks without any kind of visa, two weeks for Thailand), pick up a lady boy, and have a one night stand?

It's difficult to get a work visa. You need to show that there is no US citizen that will take the position before you can apply for permission to hire a foreigner.

Hire her as a HOUSEHOLD MAID?

What self-respecting US citizen is going to move in with a complete stranger and do housework just for free food, clothing, and shelter, and some spending money on the side?

If you're going to move in with a total stranger under those conditions, people would label you, even if it's wrong, as an escort and a mistress.

If you're that desperate, you can probably find a RELATIVE to move in with under those conditions.

It's almost impossible to pull a visitor visa out of the Phils,

Understandable.

That would be a moot point if the Philippines would recognizer HER (not his) change of gender.

I've recently come to terms with the fact that, although I identify as straight, it's not the ####### or ####### that makes the difference for me, but rather, the secondary sex characteristics, such as these:

Therefore, I decided a while ago that I'd be interested in a shemale.

Then, as I looked at international dating sites, like dateinasia.com, I found out about something called "lady boys." These lady boys have all the secondary sex characteristics of a woman, just with the primary sex characteristic of a man. This bothered me at first, but only because, when I first inquired about lady boys, the one I asked just said "I'm a gay." This lead me to believe that he had MALE secondary sex characteristics. But no, for all intents and purposes, a lady boy is like a shemale, except that they weren't born that way.

If a lady boy were to get surgery, and become a post-op transsexual female, could I then get her a fiance visa?

I understand that an American pass port will recognize the gender change, if she can provide proof that she had the surgery, but would that be sufficient for me to get her a fiance visa?

Again, your initial post is very non-specific and does not read like someone who is in love with one particular person, but someone who is interested in pursuing a specific lifestyle. My misunderstanding that I apologized for, but your post was extraordinarily non-specific.

Understandable.

That would be a moot point if the Philippines would recognizer HER (not his) change of gender.

It's not a moot point as you could marry and transition on a visitor visa.

Ok, how can you tell me what my original post said when you don't even know what I said in my most recent one? You REALLY need to get tested for autism, son.

I said it would be a moot point IF THE PHILIPPINES WOULD RECOGNIZE HER GENDER CHANGE!

Go back and read it!

Oh, and you wouldn't honor my PM request and stop posting in this thread, so I'm blocking you.
