Hi I need to get my tax transcripts for the last 2 yrs. What is the fastest way to get it. Are service out there that will e-mail it to me? How long does it take to get it directly from the IRS?

I found these two sites. Are they reliable? Does the IRS have a direct online service like the two I mentioned below?

The transcripts you need are free from the IRS; if you call the IRS while standing next to a fax machine, the IRS will fax them to you (they're reluctant to fax to public/non-secure fax machines). Try them on Monday.

OP is looking for fastest way.. O&K noted the "fastest way" already... the fax method is almost immediate and is what I did... As was said, they are reluctant to send to unsecure fax, but they have no way to know where it is going.. I had them send to Myfax, my internet fax provider, and I was emailed the PDF's a minute later... no charge except for my fax service fees...

I am attempting to do the same thing. However I can't find an option on the IRS line to get to faxing it to my MyFax...or any fax at that. Can anyone who has had experience with this please help me figure out how I can get through the automated system to request a fax? I really need it, like now! LOL. I'm calling 1800-908-9946. It's the line for ordering tax return transcripts...and there simply is no way for me to get through to someone. I need to know how to get to the place where I can request a fax. I tried the IRS numbers above and that didn't work. There isn't even an option to get tax transcripts on that one.

Oh ok. Well thats fine. I'm willing to wait on phone for as long as they want. Can I get the number you used to talk to someone and get them faxed?

Thank you!
