Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand
If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
Thanks!

....just gonna sit quietly over here in the corner. (glad the fuzzy one never listens to me ;) )
jJ
just me being indecisive and backtracking
I totally understand your reasons not that you have to give anybody any. I should be making an omlette and getting ready for class but I couldn't resist today making a comment reading the thread. My Mom comes tomorrow and leaves the next day. It's homecoming weekend though she didn't plan to be here for that. lol! And I'm afraid that now that we passed 8 weeks that we're moving into the 5-6 month range for the visa in hand. In five to six months my whole world as I know it is going to change.
You've got the couch I've got the music!

I hate the gossip and backbiting~ but I love the good women (and Charles) in the Mena forum. What I need to do is thicken my skin and when I read crap that is written about myself and ya'll ~~~~~~I need to let it roll off and not let it affect me like it does. I let words from strangers, hurt my feelings and I can't let it get me down. Ya know..some think I lost my mind when Mohammed divorced me...no actually all I lost was an idiot and about 30 pounds.
Not too many of you know what is actually going on in my life at the moment, and you dont really need to. But I will share with ya that I am homeless and living in a motel. God has always provided and my faith is strong that He will give me the determination to dust myself off and keep going.
I am blessed with awesome family and friends and what more could I ask for.
ok........back to the countdown MY HUSBAND IS COMING HOME!!!!!

And the weird part is you can't tell from the writer if it's directed at you or not unless they spell it out.
For some reason that calls for another Tracy Chapman song.

Sorry I just saw this. I hear ya B&S. By the end of December if he isn't here I'm supposed to pack up and move to Egypt. At least I know what I'll be doing with my life in a few months if it comes to that. Otherwise the possibilities are wide open.

Yeah I know I just played it myself 8 times in a row. Seriously.
