NBI, Cenomar, and all other documents are local to the Philippines....

If you have been in any other country (outside of the Philippines) for 6 months or more...

then you need to request a Police Certificate (some country call it GOOD CONDUCT Certificate) in the country you have been..

Dubai is slightly different then Bahrain, that is one we had to do....

and the fingerprints page was on same form...and Fingerprints were taken at a local police station....but

In your case, it seem that they want fingerprints be attested by " UAE Embassy/Consulate"

- Record of applicant's fingerprints (on official letterhead of the country issuing it) attested by UAE Embassy/Consulate

Please print the following application form ...

http://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae/dp/portal/pu...00842793232.pdf

fill it up and follow their procedure carefully

Good Conduct Certification Requset (Those Residing outside the Country)

Type of Service

Issuing a Certificate of Good Conduct (residing outside the country)

Service provided by

- Dubai Police Web Site or

- By airmail

Details of the service

- Current passport copy, copy of the previous passport, in case the resident visa of UAE is printed on it

- Record of applicant's fingerprints (on official letterhead of the country issuing it) attested by UAE Embassy/Consulate

- Bank draft in the name of Dubai Police H.Q., in the amount of 35 US Dollars

- A period of 6 months has already passed since the issue of the applicant residence visa (non-citizens)

- (2) recent photos

The applicants residing outside the country have to mention clearly the party requesting the criminal investigation record and their mailing address

Procedures

- After receiving the request with the attachments and the fess, the person in charge will check the correctness of documents and issue a receipt of the follow up date

- The person in charge will send the bank draft to the Department of Finance

-The person in charge will send the fingerprints to the Department of Criminal Investigation

- Upon receiving the approvals and verifications by the concerned parties, the certificate will be issued, signed and sealed by the Security Committees

-The person in charge will mail the certificate to the applicant by registered airmail

Do you know someone in Dubai who can apply Police Clearance on your behalf? I had a friend who applied for me when I requested it. Because if you don't have anyone to do it for you, I think you will have to request online. It will take time and more expensive.

Anyways, please go to NBI Taft, Manila for fingerprinting with 2x2 photo and a valid I.D. They will ask you to complete the form with complete details (no abbreviations) and take your fingerprints. Then, they will give you claim stub as to when the document can be picked-up. Please take note that you won't have to pay there. The NBI will forward the document to Department of Foreign Affairs for authentication..that's where you will show the claim stub and pay Php 100.00 and again a valid i.d. before they release it. After DFA, you need to go to any DHL counter (local shipment) to send the authenticated document to UAE Embassy Manila and pay around Php 1,800.00. It will take a week before you receive the attested document (from UAE Embassy) with UAE stamp and arabic signature. Once you have it, it is up to you which shipping company you want to use (DHL or Fedex) to deliver your documents to Dubai.

REQUIREMENTS:

--authenticated/attested fingerprints (from DFA/UAE embassy with red ribbon)

-- 4 pcs passport sized photos

--authorization letter for the person who will apply on your behalf

--photocopy of valid passport

--photocopy of passport with UAE visa and cancellation page

--application form (can be downloaded from dubaipolice.gov.ae)

--Dhs 115.00 processing fee

Please make sure to write (on authorization letter and application form) that the purpose for applying PCC is for USA visa application. What I did was, I sent 2 copies each of those documents. I also downloaded the application form and signed it because I just wanted my friend to submit everything, not do the forms and the typing center is far from the police headquarters. BTW, they won't accept handwritten forms, they will ask the person to typewritten it. And since you're outside Dubai, your application will only be processed in the headquarters which is located in Al Qusais. Mine took 8 days and my friend just sent it to me thru DHL.

Goodluck girl.

If the bank never filed a police report against you, then I think you're good. If they did, remember you submitted your visa and passport copies when you applied for a credit card? That's the same documents the banks would have submitted to the police department and when you apply for a police clearance, old and new passports with UAE visa on it are required.
