Red thank you very much for this clear discussion about how you did it... that's correct that you really need to apply for the hr when your pd is about to become current...by the way, i saw 2 videos online of kababayan L.A. with an open discussion by the Aquino law firm staff- though this is for INS 204l

at least one can get something from the female lawyer... in fact they will be discussing about the humanitarian reinstatement soon- they called it the traditional hr of 2002... to get the services of the lawyer is when you really have to go against the uscis decision- one has to file a case-...that means one is denied... that means sa hr may hope pa din the only problem there is the money- kasi to reopen the case its 630 us dollars payable to uscis (good if your sub sponsor and other family members are rich)one need to fill up the form at saka kailan may lawyer ka talaga-- so there is still hope... Hopefully this hr 2002 must be treated equally- considering that this is not illegal intention of staying in the usa just like the so many there- this is a petition by a us citizen the only problem the petitioner died due to very long wait-- I think if you have an approved petition in your hand (at least approved before the death of the petitioner) you can still fight for it along the way...
