NVC IV FEE Status - NOT PAID ?

Folks,

Need some guidance here.

AOS invoice fee bill was received and I paid the fee online. Status subsequently indicated PAID on Invoice page and receipt page 2 days later. No problem here.

Then checked website again a few days later and found IV invoice fee bill could be paid even though hadn't received IV invoice fee notice via email or post. I went ahead and paid the $400 fee. About 2 days later, I found that receipt tab has already updated to PAID with instructions to print cover sheet but Invoice tab still shows NOT paid. Since then I have received the IV document cover page via email as well from NVC but the invoice tab still hasn't update to PAID.

Can I still go ahead and send my DS-230 paper work even though website Invoice tab indicates NOT PAID for IV fee ?

My thinking is as long as I have the document cover sheet with the bar code ...I'm all set ?

Seems more like a bug on the fee payment website ?

I'll call the operator as well to confirm...but wanted to check here with the community on any similar situations.

Thanks for any feedback

Yeah ,ur not the only one who did this. There is this stupid glinch in their system. The system shows online that it is invoiced and ready to be paid when the actual IV bill have nt been even generated. That's why then the actual bill generates, the online status shoes NOT PAID again.

Call NVC at ur earliest and tell them to fix this and they will tell you that ur request will be sent to a supervisor.

Yeah you can send in ur DS-230 as long as u have the cover page.

Best of Luck

Yeh same thing happened to us. One call to a supervisor and it was corrected the next day. I had already mailed the DS-230 when the IV Bill email arrived.

I was told that it would not delay my parents cases. As of yesterday we were under final review.

Now, it happen to us.. and the bad thing I haven't had a chance to print out the barcode, because we still had an "in process" status, and the next day we received the bill by email and the status change to "not paid". I called NVC and talked to an operator 10 mins ago and she said I should wait 3 business days to see if it will change or not and I don't need to talk to a supervisor right now.. Oh, and something that make me mad, she said it will delay the process :bonk:

Another update from me..

I called and spoke to the second operator, she said she could help to correct it and it will take 10-15 days to correct the problem!! :bonk::blink:

Finally, I called them again for the 3rd times and finally they let me spoke to a supervisor. She said it will only tak 2-3 days to correct the problem, basically it's the time for them to cleared the money from our bank.. what a relief.. but we still hoping the process will be faster than that :):innocent:

This happens when you pay your AOS and then you pay your IV Bill before its actually sent out.

It will show as paid.. Once they generate the bill to you it resets to Un-Paid. I didn't even bother with it. It corrected itself a few days later.
