need info about visa picture for muslim woman

I'm a muslim from philippines & i wan't to get an info about visa picture...i have read from USEM site that all pictures should show both ears...& since i'm wearing a scarf i'm kinda confused how should my picture be taken
with my passport & nbi clearance they asked me to show my ears or they wont take my pic & i need the passport & nbi so i hav no choice...if i have my visa picture taken without showing my ears will the embassy accept it? i would gladly be thankful for any info u can give...thanks!

i had to write a letter stating why the hijab and that it is for religions reasons... no problem

will it be of help if i bring my conversion certificate?
