i went to new dehli embassy with my wife to file I 130 and they give me packet 3.5 by hand ..I just need to know what happens next/...please help me in this thanks.. ???

packet 3 should be the ds230 part one and information on what other documents are needed for your interview. also there should be a readiness form. once you have the ds230 filled out, the police cert and other necessary documents, you turn in the readiness form and wait for packet 4, your interview information. our packet 3 was pretty self explanitory, so just give it a read and see what it says.

Please read the instructions in the packet carefully. As far as I am aware, when filing DCF in most countries, the I-864 is taken to the interview not sent anywhere. And for DCF, you will definitely not have any dealings with the NVC. The Packet should contain your LND number - it is a long number starting with LND and is used to schedule the medical interview. Hope that helps!
If you don't have any instructions at all, then perhaps all you've received is the NOA2 (Notice of Action) - which is approval of the I-130 petition. If that is the case, then hang tight - you should receive more info and forms soon.

HI. I hope that everything goes smoothly now because you already received packet 3. Form my hubby's experience, he had to bring the I-864 with him to the interview along with all the requirements stated in packet 3. Follow the directions VERY carefully. When one is doing DCF, we don't go through the NVC.

Ken contact your embassy to get this sorted. This is the first time I have heard for an I-130 to be approved on the spot. If I was you I would re-confirm that your I-130 was approved on the spot and get your case number.

well my wife is petioner and iam benificiary...so she stayed here 3 months and she got her residency here.
well my case went like this in US embassy when we went to file I 130
we went to embassy waited in line for 6 hours and they finally called us. My wife told them that we need the seprate room to discuss our case. And they took us in seprate room and saw all our documents. Since we are already married in US and we have a daughtrer there which is 2yrs (actually not my daughter its from my wifes ex-Boyfriend) so CO saw our daughter birth certificate and he checked my previous F1(student) visa in computer he said i dont see any immigration proceddings in your case and even he said that he is not sure. But i know i dont have any immigration procedings in US and then he checked our I 130 and G-325A marked with red pen and collected all our documents and he said your petition is approved!
Then he gave us the packet 3.5 by hand and he told us to read it carefully and send all papers to VFS address. now the thing is in those papers are asking me the case number which I dont have.....IM BIG TIME CONFUSED... 
..my paperwork is all ready and ready to send but doesnt have case number ...

Whoa really? That was the fastest I-130 petition approval ever. You should contact your embassy asap to find out what your case number is. because that is how they will identify you.

29/01/2009----Went for medical
02/02/2009----GOT medical Report!! (all Fine)
06/02/2009---- INTERVIEW!!!! RECIVED 221g REQUSTING TO SUBMIT MORE DOCUMENTS with PASSPORT
28/02/2009---- Submitted 221g Documents with passport
18/03/2009---- Got passport without visa stamped on it
19/03/2009---- Called DOS and they said embassy is asking for my daughter's Birth cetificate and Passport
01/04/2009---- 1 month of AP!! - NO NEWS--- from embassy---called DOS No news---_STILL WAITING FOR ANOTHER 221g FROM EMBASSY!!!!!!
STILL UNDER AP!!!!! very Frustated
07/04/2009---- Case tranfered to FPU(fraud prevention unit)
15/06/2009---- Embassy asked me to submit my passport-----confused??
22/06/2009---- Got Visa in Hand
10/07/2009---- POE Denver!

well iam confused about police certificates... ?Do i have to get police certificate form swtizerland as i stayed there for 8 months on student visa?? and i worked in london for 5 months on work permit.?? please let me know about this>>>>>>>>
