I have tried calling NVC about the IIN and I am unable to obtain. Does anyone know how this can be obtained. I am told different answers like we are not allowed to give it out or it is not in our system yet. I told them i wanted it for my records only.

It depends on who you ask keep calling them and ask them for the invoice number that is what they call it. They should be able to give it to you once you say it is to be used for online payments. Good luck.

Generally, the operators insist that paying online is not possible, you're right. All I can say is keep trying! Sorry they're making it so difficult!

Long story short, we have a complicated case. We've been at this for nearly 5 years. You can read our story here. I highly recommend our attorney Laurel Scott, as well as attorneys Laura Fernandez and Lizz Cannon .

Filed I-130 via CSC in Feb 2008. Petition approved June 2008. Consular interview in Mexico, Oct 2008, visa denied, INA 212a6cii. We allege improper application of the law in this case.

2012, started over in Seoul: I-130 filed DCF on 7/2, I-130 approved 8/8, Medical at Yonsei Severance 11/20, IR1 appointment in November 2012.

CRBA filed 1-3-13 at Seoul for our daughter

Based on what other people have said, it looks like the night shift customer service reps at the NVC are more lenient and give out the IIN without much hassle. You can also tell them that you are aware that you cannot pay online but that you want the # for your records, that should also work.

:time:

Does the Automated Voice Response say that they have generated the DS-3032 and AOS Fee Bill? I don't think they give you the Invoice number until those have been generated.

NVC received my case on 8/11/08. I called just right now and she told me that it would take 4 to 6 weeks for them to generate a bill and after a bill is generated she will give me the IIN. Does it really take 4 to 6 weeks? I thought it would be within a week. Does any one know if they have a backlog?

They always say that but it takes less. 7-10 days is the normal these days but if you look at my timeline it was generated on the 3rd day after they have received it. Good luck. Definately check by end of this week. Try Friday or Saturday. Good luck.
