Wow. just spoak to USCIS on phone to ask if my case had a problem and got the complete run around. I filed my case on April 11, 2008 and when I ask if there was a problem because I have recieved a second notice or RFE or anything, he told me I was well within the normal processing times, because in Vermont they are working on cases filed on January 17, as we all know this is what it says on the processing times at the USCIS website, and yet we know full well as evidenced on this web site cases recieved by the vermonth processing center after January 17 have already been approved. What is going on? I never understood the processing times on the USCIS website anyway, I thought it was the processing time for the complete process, file to visa????

Any one know the phone number to call the Vermont processing center. Or is it not a good Idea to call does that just piss people of and have them put your papers to the bottom of the stack?????

They have 6 months to approve a case. In two or three days the official 'processing times' list will change and there'll be a date around the 15th of February. But luckily for most of us it goes quicker than that.

It just seems very missleading to have a date idicating they are working in files recieved in January, when we see on this web site approvals for cases filed after January even thosed filed in April have recieved a second notice of approval. I just wish the government would provide a bit more inforamtion. They should indicated how many cases were recieved in each month and how many are processed and pending for each month. I dont want to know what is longest it can take.

There is a weblink that had some numbers in a differnt report.

I know in April and May they had a wapping record of 150,000 of I-129F.

You also notice the graph of VJ for Vermont is way up not like before 2 months and you get your NOA now it's close to CSC time frame.

US CSC folks thought it was unfair for VSC to get theirs in 2 months while we wait atleast 6 months

USCIS uses some complex formula to determine the reported processing times. Majority of the time they are really off from reality. I can't agree more, it would help to save a lot of anxiety knowing real picture... My patience is about gone and we still have a long road ahead of us :crying: Considering your date is April 11, you guys are really close!!! Hopefully this week if not then next!
