HOW TO CHECK NVC STATUS ONLINE

Hi Experts,

Would you share info how to check latest status at NVC online?

I only know USCIS status Online.

For example, INV Paid, DS-230generated) how can I check this status online at NVC?

Case complate : August 27th 2008 , Interview date will on Oct 29th 2008

Package forwarded to Local embassy : Sept 11th 2008

Package received : Sept 15th 2008

Receive interview mail : Sept 30, 2008

Medical check : Oct 1st 2008 passed

Vaccination : Oct 1st 2008 , OK got 2 shots

New Interview date : Oct 21st 2008 VISA APPROVED AND ISSUED
POE at Phoenix : NOV 28th smooth

Receive Welcome letter and SSN : Dec 17th 2008

Green card received : Dec 22th 2008

An automated recorded message system is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to answer case status inquiries.

Status of case information can only be provided by entering your NVC case number of CIS receipt number (USCIS NOA1 receipt number). NVC has information on received petitions only. If the automated system does not recognize the NVC case number or CIS receipt number you entered, most likely caused by NVC has not yet received your petition.


Telephone operators are available to respond to more in-depth inquiries.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM (EST). Best time to call is 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM to 12:00 PM. (Eastern Time)

This thread is nearly five years old. They got rid of the automated service months ago. You just have to sit on hold and wait until someone picks up nowadays.

Oohpartiv is correct. The automated messages no longer exist when you call NVC. Here is a link that you can "check your status" online https://ceac.state.g...ker/Status.aspx, but the best way to get updates on your case at NVC is either call NVC or DOS (both NVC and DOS are able to access into the case).
