How will you know if you pass the Interview (k1)

I just want to know how will you know if you pass the interview or not? I had my interview this morning. They ask me to pay for Delbros for visa delivery.... The consular officer told me that there is no more problem with my papers and everything is ok, they just have to verify my documents. She also told me to wait for my name to be called and they will give instructions.

I pay my verification fee last April 14,2008 and Delbros told me that they just send it last monday May 12,2008 to NSO.

My questions are:

1. How long will it take for the NSO to send back to US Embassy the documents?

2. How will i know if my visa is APPROVED?

3. How long is the visa to be delivered?

I think we had the same Consul who interviewed us You don't have to worry. I only waited for 2 weeks till Delbros delivered my visa. Once your document verification is done they will forward it to the USEM and the Consul will review it again. When everything goes well, your visa will be printed and in a day or two you will be receiving your visa if you're just living in Metro Manila. Goodluck!

Having your visa in hand is the only proof of being approved during the interview...

As for your questions:

1. They say at least 2 weeks or more

3. Depends on your location

We had the same situation. The consul just said to me my papers were good - not a flat-out YOU'RE APPROVED. She said, they just need to verify something. I paid Delbros. What I did- I told my husband to call the embassy himself and inquire about the status of my visa. Sure enough, he got what he needed.My interview was a Friday morning. Usually they do these verification thingy on Fridays, so by Monday they printed my visa. I got my visa delivered by Delbros exactly a week after my interview. ..the next Friday.

Congrats! You passed the interview, just have to wait for your visa and keep an eye out for delbros to text you.
