Do we need to attach the beneficiary's photograph to DS-230 Part 1, before sending to NVC ?

Or just include 2 photographs in the envelope ?

Your answer is very well appreciated.

I just put mine (2 photos sized 2x2") in a small envelope, wrote my name and case number on the back of the 2 photos.

There's no instruction on the guides saying that we should glue the photos on the form, so I understand that they are just included along with all the requested docs.

Thanks to your answer. But my question is if we include 2 photos in the envelope or glue one of them on DS-230 form ???

Thought you only need a copy of the passport photo for the ds-230, and 2x2 photo for interview?

Yes you need to include 2X2 photos or you will get an RFE.

What I did was put the photos in a small envelope and attached it to my DS-230 application.

I wrote "Passport Photo" and the case number on the envelope.

I also wrote the case number on the back of the photos

DavidnMay,

First check if your local Embassy is what NVC calls "Appointment Post".

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3734.html

If it is Appointment Post, please see the documents that have to be submited with the DS 230.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3176.html

Those documents are related to the beneficiary (the foreign spouse), the beneficiary must sign part I and leave part II to be signed at the interview, anyway both parts I and II should be sent to NVC. Send 1 original plus a photocopy of each requested document to NVC and keep one original of each document to be taken to the interview.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!

YES it helps thank you:-) We just read the required documents part and it just said passport photo copy lol.

But it looks like she needs to send the 2 2x2 photos to, im glad we found out now becuse her ds-230 just got generated, and I already recived her ds-230 from her with everything but the 2x2 photos.

She is in Philippines just like NoelnTintin.

So now she will get the photos taken tommarow and send LBC or FEDEX express so at least will get it soon:-) probably still before she gets the paper work from the NVC, we also read James Short cuts and there was no info aout 2x2 photos there:-(

But anyweay thanks for the help:-)
