can I just scan and .pdf and email my W2, 1040 and last 3 paycheck stubs?

or does she need originals

Thank you

Even a faxed copy will be suitable, so yes, a .pdf will work. However, she needs the originals for the I-134, letter of employment (if applicable), and official statement signed by a branch manager of your bank.

I sent 3 years worth of tax returns just in case. When you send the tax return, make sure it's the entire return, not just a copy of the W-2 and the 1040.

Oh.. I have each monthly statement from my bank.. so I will need to have the branch Manager write out a statement that they are official? I better go now.

Thank you..

I have this years full 1040 and I had the IRS send me the script from my 2005 and 2006 tax filing.. I was told by the IRS this will work in place of the 1040 for those 2 years.

If he has a tax return and W2 you best have them, both are listed in the embassy instructions letter. Not having them will result in a 221g... requiring him to produce his most recent tax return and W2 or show valid cause not to.... being afraid doesn't cut it.

Psst!! Tell your fiance... the U.S. government already has his vital information. ;) And the embassy already has his SSN.

So, the US embassy wants the originals of the W-2 and tax return? copies are not allowed? I only sent my fiance a copy of my recent W2 and tax return, copies of the bank statement, copies of my paystubs. However, I did give my fiance the original of the I-134 Affadavit of Support. Is that ok?

Embassy instructions letter states copies of the most recent tax return and W-2. Need an original of the I-134

Sounds like you are good to go!
