It has been about a month now since NVC sent us an email with a case number and online it says case ready. I have just submitted ds-160 form and I have the confirmation page and all my documents ready, however I still have not yet scheduled the interview because I have not received anything in the post still. Has anyone experienced this? Do I need to wait for this letter? I am reading so many posts about waiting for the letter to come and then so many others saying it is not needed and to go ahead and book the interview anyway as some people never even receive the letter or they can take months to come. Has anyone been to the London embassy k1 interview without having received a letter? I don't know what to do just seems like such a waste of time waiting for this letter to show up, any advice would be greatly appreciated! -
Hey, my fiancée (the petitioner) received an email in the 12th February with a case number for NVC. However I have not yet received any further correspondence from NVC yet. At the end of the emailed letter it says they will contact me when they are ready to process our petition. I know someone who is on around the same timeline as me just a couple weeks before me, and is with the same embassy (London) and they said they received their physical welcome letter the other week and that when you go to book the interview it asks that you have received this letter. I am going to enquire next week if it does not arrive still, but is anyone else going through this? Not sure if it's just with the London embassy. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

We received our NOA 2 (K-1 Visa, Philippines) about 3 weeks ago and our wondering if and when we will receive a welcome letter from the NVC. Can anyone share their recent experience of how and when the NVC will notify us and give us a case number? Will we receive an email, letter, or both? Should we be notified when the NVC first receives our case or once it has been sent to the embassy?

Hi! We haven't gotten our Welcome Letter yet and I am becoming a little bit worried. I saw some posts one FB that they got the WL within few days and ours has been 3 weeks ago. This is our timeline: PD: May 28, 2023 Approval: Augus 22, 2023 Case Sent to the Department State: August 27, 2023 I am also aware that NVC has a big backlog now but I am worried it might stretch longer.

Hi All! My I-130 case was recently approved (Apr 22nd) and Case sent to NVC (Apr 27). I'm seeing what seems to be petitioners receiving the welcome letter, but when reading the i-797 Approval notice it states that the NVC will reach out to the beneficiary for further action. Can any one confirm if the welcome letter is sent to both the petitioner AND the beneficiary? (I've searched a million searches and can't seem to find a solid answer on this)

Can you share when your case was sent to DoS and when you received the welcome letter? Nvc is taking so much tome creating new cases. TIA
