Hi! These questions go to the recent applicants/relatives who have received an interview appointment at the US Embassy but had to undergo sputum exam at SLEC: 1] Did you just didn't show up to your appointment schedule because of the sputum process? Or you called the US Embassy that you can't make it to your schedule? 2] When did you try calling the US Embassy that you needed a new schedule? Was it after you were cleared after two months? 3] Was it easy to get a new schedule at the Embassy since there is a race to meet the 3 month validity of your medical and had to get your interview, get the visa and leave for the US within the validity of the medical exam? Hope you can answer these and hope it can help others too. Salamat.

Hi, For those who have submitted an expedited request and until you receive your interview letter/email, I'd like to ask: 1] What is your timeline from sending your expedited request (via support-philippines) for interview schedule at US Embassy Manila? 2] How many times did you have to call to follow up your case on your request (escalated to post)? 3] When did you receive your Interview Email/Letter from the US Embassy?

Hi can anyone give advice or answer my question. HIghly appreciate your help. My dad was interviewed last October 2020, for Ir1 visa - spouse of US citizen. His visa was Refused. He needs to submit an NBI Explanation Letter. The following day he went to NBI Manila office but he was told that NBI needs a request letter from USE-Manila. We did called USE-manila but there was no answer at all. January 2021 , we emailed USE-Manila. They replied " Please be informed that we are unable to predict how long it will take to receive the information we requested from the NBI. Be assured that we will notify you once we receive the information directly from the NBI and complete our review of the case." But it has been 6 months now and there has no update or anything. Just recently we were able to talked with NBI office, but they are still looking for a Request Letter from the Embassy. Now its very confusing, cause the email from USE-Manila says they already requested it and just waiting for NBI to reply. Can anyone help us whats the best thing to do? Or share your experience if you been on the same situation before? THANK YOU
