    Hi all. We have just submitted our I-130! The next stages are far off but I'm just trying to get prepared. I know we are asked for police certificates/clearance at the NVC stage. I lived in New Zealand for one year. They send police clearance for visa purposes directly to the government body/embassy instead of us acquiring it first. Has anyone done this previously and when in the process did you apply for the police clearance? Did you do it when you were notified of the petition reaching NVC or did you do it ahead of time in anticipation? If I've got this completely wrong please let me know! Any guidance is much appreciated.
