(Sorry if content is in wrong category.) I (the beneficiary) already submitted my intent to marry letter on the I-129F petition, and my new signature there contains my first names, last names, and middle initial. It’s a new signature I recently took to using. At the same time, I got my first NBI clearance outside of K1 purposes. It had my old signature, only having my first name and last name. I will have to renew that NBI clearance soon… Fast forward to now, the petition has been approved (yay), and now I will actually need to submit a NBI clearance, a renewed more recent one at that, for the K1 process. I’m committing to using my new signature as much as possible. But my scenario might be this: the NBI forces me to use my old signature for my renewed clearance for the K1. If that happens, won’t I be in trouble since my NBI clearance has a different signature from my intent to marry letter along with the rest of my documents moving forward? Thanks :).

Interview checklist says: NBI and CENOMAR must be valid for 1 year from the day they were obtained. 1. My NBI: - Obtained on Sept. 14, 2022. - Expires on Sept. 10, 2023. I don't know if I'm splitting hair here but the exact validity of my NBI is: 11 months and 28 days. So, not a year. Would this be a problem? 2. CENOMAR: - There are two dates, one above and one below. Which date is my CENOMAR considered obtained by the Embassy? ... I think it's Sept. 27 but I want to be sure. 3. Going back to the original question --- 1 year from the date they were obtained: ... This is a silly question but I gotta be sure --- the 1-year validity rule applies only from when they were obtained and NOT from the day of the interview and onwards, right? ------- My Interview is on Aug. 30, 2023. Are my papers still valid for my interview? Many thanks.

Hi guys, we've finally gotten our interview date! Some questions: 1. Petitioner has switched jobs - should we update the I864/AOS? 2. I've moved houses - should we update the DS260? 3. My NBI is still valid (expired June 2023) but the address is still my old one. Is that ok? Thank you!

Good day! My father was asked by the USEM to secure a Letter of Explanation from NBI because of the remarks NO CRIMINAL RECORD. He had an accident in 1978. However, the NBI required us to secure court order but per Metropolitan Trial Court certification states "This is to certify that all criminal cases filed before this Office from January 02, 1947 to June 11, 1988 were totally destroyed by fire." Please note that the case was dismissed and a court order was also submitted in 1984 when a NBI clearance was required for travel to Saudi Arabia. My father secured a Police Clearance from Quezon City (also where the accident took place) that states NO DEROGATORY RECORD. What other documents can we present to the NBI so that they will issue a new NBI clearance that says NO DEROGATORY RECORD.

Hi everyone, just need help or clarifications about this matter. So my dad was interviewed last October 2020 for his Ir1 visa - Spouse of US Citizen at US embassy in Manila. His Visa was refused after interview , he was given a 221g form to submit NBI Explanation Letter. For 5 months we have not received any updates regarding his case. Last April 13, 2021 we received an endorsement letter from USEM for his NBI interview, he was interviewed and NBI said they have submitted the letter already to USEM the following week. No updates since then. But this week for we have been checking the status of his visa, 4 consecutive days now the dates were updated from May 24, 25, 26, & 28, 2021 but the status is still REFUSED. Is this a good sign, will we be getting an update or the final results soon from USEM ? How long does it usually takes to get a result?
