My husband and I filed I-130 for me and about 40 days later we filed I-129F for K3. The receipt we got for the I-130 said it’s at the Nebraska Service Center. Meanwhile, the receipt we got for the I-129F shows that it’s at the Texas Service Center (SRC are the first letters of the receipt #). My question now is this: does this mean that our filing is transferred from Nebraska to Texas? Are these two filings always processed at the same service center? I ask because according to USCIS website, different service centers have different process timelines and it seems Texas is one of the slowest ones.

Greetings, I am a 22 year old Ukrainian woman. To get one thing out of the way straight away, I am not entirely sure of U4U program. I've searched the web for sponsors, but for some reason they're either suspicious or there's some weird specifics that pop up on different websites. In a nutshell, I am not entirely sure if U4U might work for me. If I some emergency happens back at home and I'll need to leave US, I won't be able to come back into the States. Now onto the main topic, I have a boyfriend in the US who's 23 years old. We've been talking daily for 8 years. For obvious reasons we haven't been able to meet. At first we were minors with no money, then Covid-19 hit and now the war escalated over here. And to top it all off we both had struggled financially. I have absolutely no intention of abusing the system to get a US citizenship effortlessly. This is a man I really care about and I intend to start a family with him. While I don't struggle with English language, I sure as hell struggle understanding some things with immigration laws. What is the way to go about this, for example: We get married in Ukraine, he goes back into US, fills out forms and he gets me into US. We fill out fiancé visa and all those forms, I go there, we get married and so on. OR I get over my fears of U4U, go into USA and get married to him while there. I'd also like to know how important it is to be able to prove your romantic relationship in the last 2 year in the second case (flight tickets, pictures, love letters and whatnot). Considering our circumstances mentioned above, it would be quite a challenge.

Hi - I've been reading a lot of posts and really appreciate the content and replies. My SO is in Brazil finishing up her final year of veterinary medical school. After trying the B1/B2 tourist visa 3x (all rejected in 2022). Reason the B1/B2 were rejected each time was bc not showing enough evidence to return even though she had documents from school showing she was going to graduate, job opportunities, and even a letter from my US Congressman. Anyway, we're on to giving either the K-1/CR-1/K-3 a shot (please lord). From this forum and reddit most seem to say the CR-1 seems to be the best bet, however working with a Brazilian attorney in California (very credible), she told me a nightmare story of another Brazilian having the CR-1 (still) in limbo for 2.5 years (and there's nothing the attorney can do to help with this). The attorney is also telling me that the K-1 will be ready in 8-12 months to interview, and once in the states my SO will wait ~6 months to be able to travel/work. She recommended doing the K-1. That being said from this forum and the USCIS the wait times seem to be about the same. I'm understand the differences, but I am confused as to what route to take. Anyone that has recently filed for CR-1? Anyone from Brazil care to comment? Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!

Hello, I wanted to ask a question regarding if I would need a police certificate from my country of nationality. My parents are Romanian citizens, so I am as well. I was born in Austria and have lived there my whole life. However, I did have extended visits to Romania when I was a young child, and my parents own a house there. I have no official record of residency there, but I am considering if I should apply for a PC anyways because I have a Romanian passport and my parents own a house there. I am wondering if a CO might assume I lived there at some point. I would appreciate any feedback on this. Thank you!

Guys I want to find it that while filing for K3, am I supposed to write N/A in every black space that there will be in the form? It will kind of look absurd, like for the middle names etc, there will be so many N/As in the form. Is this the right way Im doing? attached in the pictures below? W
