Good day to all, I have just naturalized, and I am preparing for my child's green card application. He was born outside the U.S. and was not eligible for automatic citizenship from his dad due to some requirements that were not met. My child's father does not believe in vaccinations (religious reasons), so since we both share custody, we agreed to file for the I-601 vaccination waiver (Under INA Section 212(g)(2)(C) of the Vaccination Requirement). We are now divorced and live in different states, but we are still on good terms. I will be filing and signing for the I-301, AOS, and other docs, but I am unsure if I should be the one signing for the I-601 since my belief about vaccination has changed. Please advise if his dad needs to sign the I-601 with AOS, or just the I-601. Thank you!

We object to vaccinations on moral and religious grounds. Imagine my surprise when I found out that vaccinations are mandatory for immigration but not mandatory for citizens at the federal level. I found my husband could file an I-601 waiver for the vaccinations, but it is up to the CO whether it will be approved or not. Has anyone been successful with this?
