As a USC, I wish to sponsor both my parents. They currently live outside the United States. What route would you recommend: (1) bring them here on a tourist visa, file I-130 and then I-485, or (2) have them go the consular processing route? I hear that wait times for I-130 approval are quite long (roughly 12.5 months). So does it make any sense for them to come here and go the route of I-485 when it's just going to take a really long time even getting to I-485 due to I-130 wait time? Or are they able to obtain Advanced Parole and EAD while waiting for I-130 approval? Hope someone can provide which is the best route to take. Thanks!

Hi, i'm on H1B visa and my last entry into USA is with H1B. Presently i'm in USA, i'm applying for family based green card petition, filing concurrently - I130, I485, I765, I131. Question: Do I need to apply/eligible for INA 245(i) and do I need submit Supplement A to I485? Appreciate any inputs. Thanks!

I have a question my friend is a United States Citizen, she filed for her husband and kids. They husband got approved and was sent to the nvc, but the kids got approved but need an i-824 to be sent to the NVC. The person who helped prepare their paper i-130 made a mistake. I would like to know if there is a way to speed the kids i130/1824.

My parents are divorced and soon my father wants to apply for tourists visas for him and my two siblings who are under 18 (I am over 18 i am aware i have to do the application on my own). As a result of the divorce (which happened in 2016) he was granted full custody of me, and my mother got custody of my two siblings. However, they spend most of their time with my dad and I and even live at our house since my mother is always 'busy'. My question is, what type of documentation would he need to provide regarding the divorce. If he applies for tourist visas for my younger sibling would he need some sort of letter from my mother giving her permission for this to happen? Would he need to carry his divorce papers? Any information would be appreciated, thank you.

I would appreciate if someone could help me. Im filing the form I-864 (Afidavit). Im a sponsor of my wife and my child. I've filled one separate I-130 (Petition) form for my wife and one separate I-130 (Petition) form my 2 years old child. Should I fill in now two separate I-864 forms for them: one I-864 for my wife and one I-864 for my child? More over, in the I-864 item no. 2 it is said: do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition. Im really confused on about how many I-864 forms should I fill in.
