Wondering if anyone has gone through the CFO course for a K-1 visa lately and what are your experiences? Mainly interested in the types of documentation they will ask for. I am seeing sites reporting that my fiance may need to provide things like: 1. Affidavit of invitation and support (financial support/safety/medical insurance) written by the sponsoring spouse notarized and authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate which has jurisdiction over the destination or host country, 2. Declaration of undertaking of travel in letter format to include an itinerary of travel and how to ensure safe travel and stay, and 3. Letter explaining why the foreign partner cannot travel to the Philippines. Has anyone ever actually been asked for any of those above listed items. I want to be as prepared as possible, but do I really need to go find a Philippines Consulate to notarize a statement of support??

I just got my US visa (IR2). 1. Requirement No. 4 --- what doc. do I show? ... I don't have a Green Card yet. ... I don't know what the Visa Grant Page looks like. (PS: no yellow packet). ... And, there's no contract because I have an IR visa. 2. One valid ID? ... What IDs do they accept? (I only have 2 IDs aside my passport: NBI and a Postal ID.) 3. Duration of the seminar? And, is it the same for in-person and online?

Hi, Case- I-R1/CR-1 Spousal Visa For those who have experienced or who have knowledge about the CFO/GFP certificate with sticker. Kindly share me your knowledge. Thank you in advance. I'm about to leave the Philippines to USA for the first time in December. Got my visa and stuff. But one thing came up. I don't know how, I just ended up clicking random website from my phone. You know -- was just searching.. "everything I need to do or know before moving to US from the PH for the first" time something like that. Then I saw the CFO/GFP certificate with sticker. If it wasn't because of me searching random things before I leave. I might have booked the ticket to US without knowing I need this certificate. I'm just wondering. If that happens and I'm at the airport already ready to fly. Would they stop me because I don't have that CFO/GFP certificate? Or is there exceptions? Would they still allow me to leave my country or not? Would my ticket be wasted?

Hi, Just a quick question, did I chose the correct visa type and relationship for my petitioner for my CFO PDOS details? We were granted with Partner Subclass 100 AU (my mother is the main applicant). My father is the petitioner (Former Filipino and an Australian Citizen). Visa Type: BC SUBCLASS 100 Relationship (under Petitioner's Data): Parents Thanks!

Does anyone know if it is okay to use the digital certificate for CFO to travel outside of Philippines? Medical is expiring soon and the hard copy of the certificate is taking awhile. We did the online seminar.

Hi all, I am 22, and the beneficiary is 23 from The Philippines. We haven't done the I-129F yet, but I know that CFO is something that beneficiaries from The Philippines have to deal with when getting a K-1 Visa. However, I cannot find a concrete explanation of the expectations and requirements from the CFO, especially for people below 25 y/o. Can anyone that has gone through this process explain what is required, and what are reasons for application denial?

Greetings: My fiancée and I have filed for our K-1 (waiting with NOA2 not until April 2023), and we are wanting to go on vacation in Thailand. Understanding that a CFO letter/stamp is required for her to leave the Philippines even with Thailand being visa free for both of us. Would this CFO stamp be sufficient for the vacation travel AND the K-1 next year, or are they two different stamps/authorizations? I have to admit, this is so confusing for me, but the USCIS introduces enough delays, I don't want any on the other side of the pond... Thank you all! -Kurt

Hello again, helpful wonderful people! So we're almost there! My fiancé passed her medical exam and psychological evaluation, and her interview went great, now she's awaiting her visa delivery! Very exciting and scary at the same time 😂 She received this email about her upcoming CFO call, and some of it is confusing to me so I was hoping I could get some clarification from you all? I'll attach a photo but I don't need to know what it all means, just a few things... #6 - Is this required? If so, how do I go about getting one? #7 - What do they need to know and in what format? #8 - How would I get a notarized copy from the embassy? Is one sent to her with her visa? #9 - Why would they need this for a fiancé visa? #10 - For her or for myself? Or both? Thank you all again so much, you've all been such a great help! We're so close!
