I'm trying to put together a plan to marry my girl from Belarus in Poland and then bring her to the US on a spousal visa. Any help would be greatly appreciated on what I would need since I was married before, where I can go to plan for this event in Poland, and any issues my fiance may have with obtaining a Schengen visa to Poland so we can get married. I know...a lot of stuff in that sentence. Thanks in advance.

So as the title states I'm planning on getting married to who I would call my fiancé who I've been talking with for 7 years. However due to covid restriction laws I couldn't come to Japan so we could start a fiancé visa so at this point we haven't met yet in person. We agree that I would help plan our wedding here in San Francisco, California. I've heard the Japanese passport is very strong being one of the passports that allows Japanese citizens to enter majority of countries with a stay of 90days without a visa. My question is does my future wife still need some sort of Visa to stay with me in California if she is only staying for a month and is immediately heading back to japan as she still has her family to take care of?

Hi everyone, Firstly, I apologize if this is a duplicate topic. I read through multiple threads regarding taxes and although there was a lot, I couldn't seem to find one that was similar to my situation. Quick facts: This is regarding my taxes for 2020 as I did not file last year I am a Canadian citizen living in Canada and my wife is an American citizen living in the US I live in Ontario My wife is sponsoring me to the US and our case is currently at the NVC We got married February 14, 2020. We do not have any children We do not receive financial support from the government I am using Wealthsimple Tax (I believe previously it was called SimpleTax). These are some questions it asks me regarding my spouse: Do you want to prepare your returns together? No. Did you live together for all of 2020? No. (I lived in Canada and she lived in the US) Did you live together on December 31, 2020? No. While living apart did you support (or were you being supported by) your spouse? No. Was your spouse a non-resident on December 31, 2020? Yes. Did you live in separate principal residences or medical reasons? No. Was your spouse confined to a prison? No. When I scroll down the website as I'm filling in all the details, it says that I cannot claim the Ontario Trillium Benefit unless I report my partner's income. I have checked the box that says that I won't report her income. When I uncheck it (as in I will report her income), I get the questions in the attached image: I do not know how to fill in these details as she lives and works in the US and earns her income in the US. Hoping someone can help me with this if they have gone through a similar process. Thanks a bunch!
