It has been about a month now since NVC sent us an email with a case number and online it says case ready. I have just submitted ds-160 form and I have the confirmation page and all my documents ready, however I still have not yet scheduled the interview because I have not received anything in the post still. Has anyone experienced this? Do I need to wait for this letter? I am reading so many posts about waiting for the letter to come and then so many others saying it is not needed and to go ahead and book the interview anyway as some people never even receive the letter or they can take months to come. Has anyone been to the London embassy k1 interview without having received a letter? I don't know what to do just seems like such a waste of time waiting for this letter to show up, any advice would be greatly appreciated! -
We finally got an interview, and I'll flying over to her in two weeks to be with her for her interview. Now we find out she needed to take a Sputum test and wait sic to right weeks. Can we have her take a Rapid Sputum test instead? Vietnam

Pls i have 2 questions. Backstory : I forgot to add an important supporting document when i sent in my i751. When i filed, USCIS created an online account for me and sent me a receipt notice with this information and login details. My Receipt No. starts with IOE (which mean processing online). So i login into my new account and i saw my i751 application but i was shocked to see just one page of a random supporting document amongst the hundreds i mailed in physically with my application. So, i assumed one random document was what was needed to create the account and i didn't put much thought to it no longer because i had mailed in all my supporting documents. 1. So this is where my first question comes in. Was this the same situation for those of you that got the IOE receipt no. after mailing in your application?? Was one random document just uploaded for you when your online account was created? 2. and here comes my second question Now, i want to go ahead and upload the important document i forgot about to my online account. Is that a good idea? what should i do? P.s. If if this is not the right place to post this,. pls let me know. thanks Thanks -
Hey Guys!! I recently got my US visa after 4 years of waiting 2018-2022 as a f2a case ( child of permanent resident) . I would love to hear some personal advices of what to do next as a new resident. So far this is my checklist to do as soon as I enter the US: Social security Get debit card Get credit card Driver license Selective Service system registration Take toefl exam to enter college Roth IRA and other retirement accounts In terms of college, I’ll be transferring to a in state school to major in Accounting and Information systems. Apart from doing this checklist, what other things you guys think I need to get done to have a successful citizenship journey and what is your advice for me. Hope you guys have an amazing day! Peter
