Hello, hoping some of you can provide me some insight on a question I have. My girlfriend (thailand, non citizen) and myself (USC) are planning on getting married sometime this year and filing an I-130 to start the process of moving her to the USA. Originally, we are planning on getting married this April in Thailand (I will be visiting her). She is planning to visit the United States this June for family wedding/visit friends and myself. My question is, would she have issue entering the USA with her tourist visa if we wed in Thailand. I wasn’t planning on filing the I-130 until she finishes her visit. another question, am I allowed to file a I-130 when she is visiting to jump start the process or wait until she leaves. any advice is appreciated!

My wife visa I-130 had been approved by USCIS on June 21, 2022. Apparently, I became US Citizen just 3 days before the approval. So, the case got automatically converted from F2A to IR1. We submitted all the documents NVC asked in August and got DQ'ed by September 29, 2022. Since then we are waiting to receive Interview Letter. I tried to expedite by emailing NVCExpedite@state.gov, but it was denied. Then I tried expediting directly by AskNVC link and filled the form. It was also denied. Today marks 98th days since we DQ'ed. Cannot go through this every day. Mind you, my PD was 02-13-2020. So, almost 3 years since I filed for her.

Hey everyone, this may be a little confusing, but my wife is currently in the process of adjusting from her B2 status based on marriage. I'm a US citizen. My father has been an LPR with Mexican citizenship all my life, and my parents never got me dual citizenship. Now I'm exploring the process of obtaining Mexican citizenship which seems incredibly simple and straightforward as I am the child of a Mexican. My question is can I pursue this at the same time my wife and I are awaiting her EAD and our interview? I would continue living in the USA and have no plans to reside in Mexico. I would love to become a dual citizen and the only thing that is stopping me is our current situation and the fear that this might complicate anything for my wife and I. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks so much.

1.) Is it okay to leave a whole section blank on the e-filing of the I-130 online? The whole "beneficiary's class of admission" section does not apply to us. Just nervous leaving it blank vs doing an N/A on each blank. 2.) For those who have applied via Montreal consulate, is it possible for the kids (will be US citizens through CBRAs) and I to stay in Toronto with my Canadian husband up until he gets his visa? I am a stay at home mom so no income, and my dad will be our co-sponsor and he has a rental house by their house ready for us to move into whenever we're ready.

Hi, I'm moving/flying back to the USA(US Citizen by birth) on Feb 21st from UK (overstay due to not having funds to get home because of COVID). I am about to file for my wife's i-130. What date do i put for in the 'until' box for this residence in the UK? As i haven't left yet and its in the future, i cannot put a future date, but i would like to add my US residence, to allow them to see proof of intent to domicile. I do not want to compromise anything by saying I've moved out today and moved into my US residence today when it wont be until the 21st February. Also i do not have exact dates for my first two jobs that i need to input and have put rough estimates as i was unsuccessful obtaining employment dates from them, will this be ok as long as i write a notice about this at the end? How do i go about this? All advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks Snooch.

Does anyone have a list of questions that they would normally ask the parents during the immigration interview? For IR5.
