Ok, so I called USCIS this afternoon...after a full 24 hours of receiving a delivery confirmation from the US Postal Service that my document had been signed for and delivered to USCIS. I was told that statuses weren't automatically updated when documents are received. They are only get updated when an actual customs agent gets your case to work on it. In other words, I could send my RFE reply today and it could sit there for 3 weeks before someone picks it up to work on it. It's them...

usually, unless i have to get my 3 translators involved with translations and documents. we have this problem, each time we buy house here, also, so is ok...

I think I had a brain fart back in October when I sent the petition because I sent the fiancee letter of intent to marry, but likely did not include the fiance (my) letter of intent to marry. Also my fiancee's passport photo was too touched up and professional-looking, I presume they need something more plain and not retouched for the passport photo. Not the easiest but it could be worse I suppose, better than having to get another birth certificate or something like that I guess.

On the photo, she could have the photographer make a digital file out of the photo and email that to you. You could then take that to a photographer and have them make the print. That could save you a little time, if you haven't already thought of it.

Eu também acredito que não será aprovada, mas lá no fundo bate aquela incerteza sabe (acho qe pq sempre penso no pior dos casos) e sabendo qe já foi pré-aprovada de primeira aí é que assusta. Embora saiba qe o nosso governo não vai fazer nada contra a constituição... é uma apelação sem sentido :/

My case so far.. We got our NOA2 April 10th, 2013, Hard copy in the mail April 12th, 2013, sent a inquiry to NVCresearch after 30 days and stating that our petition was not recieved with a copy of our NOA2..recieved email response from NVC on May 17th, 2013 that they recieved our copy of our NOA2 and would contact USCIS on our behalf..Called NVC May 20th to get a update, instructed to wait 15 buisness days for a response.. called USCIS..spoke to a Tier 2 and put a inquiry in for the location...
