  1. Hello everyone! Great news! On 1/31/23 the USCIS website updated to show that my husband's green card had been printed. On 2/1, it updated again to show that our petition was approved without an interview! His card was shipped on 2/3 and we received it yesterday, 2/6. Our service center was Nebraska. We haven't applied for his citizenship and probably won't for a while, so I just wanted to update everyone with our timeline without the N-400 application. To say we are relieved is a total understatement, it's such a huge weight of our shoulders to finally have a 10 year permanent residency card. The impending expiration of our extension letter was starting to cause some issues and with a trip to the UK coming up in May I was starting to freak out! Did anyone else get differing estimates from VJ ranging anywhere from February 16th to May 15th? I had to stop opening them since they were freaking me out haha. Anyway, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! I wish all of you good luck and hope that your approvals are on their way! 💞
  2. Hello everyone! We filed our I-751 July 8th, 2021 and got our NOA 7/12/2021 and our biometrics waiver 9/9/2021. We're with the Nebraska center and have yet to hear anything after the 9/9 biometrics waiver. This is probably a long shot but does anyone know if we can request a duplicate copy of a document they have already sent to us? We received his 18 month and 24 month extensions, but unfortunately we have lost his 24 month extension. I'm very upset about it as I keep all of his immigration documentation (even copies of his original K-1 package) in the same place as a "just in case" and I'm usually very diligent about this. I don't know how we could have lost it but here we are. I was hoping we wouldn't need it but we're at 15 months now since submission and I'm starting to worry that we will hit 19 months and not have his 24 month extension letter for proof of his residency. If you know about anything we can do for this please let me know, I would really appreciate it! Also, is there anyone else that's choosing to wait to apply for their N400? He was eligible 9/30/2022 but we've decided to hold off on applying. Since this next green card is good for 10 years, neither of us really see the need to apply for his N400 right away. We almost feel like we want to get our money's worth out of his 10 year 😂 From this thread this doesn't seem to be typical I guess. Will waiting impact his chances of being approved for citizenship in the future? Just in general, how are is everyone holding up? I know it feels like we are so close to being set for a long time! I think it's a great feeling but also so stressful waiting for so long (again).
