  1. What does her loss of GC have to do with her not being to drive? Does this mean, she cannot go renew her drivers license because she doesnt have a GC?
  2. Thanks everyone. Could someone answer this question as well? Do I need to submit any other documents? I have a physical and original police report I got today. Also I have a PDF copy of my green card (both front and back). Also, I was planning to visit my family in my home country early next year. If my replacement GC hasn't arrived at that point, what do I need to do? Do I need to apply for I-131 or something?
  3. Hi, Today, someone broke into my house while I was away, and stole my valuables, which unfortunately included my (10 year) green card. I need a replacement, and I was reading the USCIS website to get more information. Since I don't have anyone to help me with this case, I wanted to make sure if my understanding is correct on here. 1) I have to apply for a replacement green card by filling out and submitting an I-90 Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card. 2) I have to pay the fee of $540 (as of 8/12/2022) (EVEN THOUGH SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY PLACE AND I AM THE VICTIM OF THE THIEF?) 3) I have to wait a few months until the replacement arrives. Is this all correct? Do I need to submit any other documents? I have a physical and original police report I got today. Also I have a PDF copy of my green card (both front and back). I am mad at how I am the victim of the incident, and I am the one to have to pay the fee for the replacement. That's like rubbing salt into the wound.
