  1. Just submitted my husband's N400 online. It was quick and easy and we've already gotten the receipt and biometric reuse update. Crossing our fingers the process is quick and easy. He's been here for 5 years now (we got married in Aug 2018) but 10 year GC took FOOOOOOREVER at Potomac. Just got that in July, so hoping this is smoother ❤️ Can't believe how long it's been since we started the whole K1 visa journey!
  2. Posted in the monthly thread already, but filed for my husband in Jan 2021 and he just got his GC in the mail a few days ago. Case approved Jul 14th. So grateful to be out of waiting in YSC hell. On the plus side, I didn't realize the new GC would expire 10 years from issuance, so it doesn't expire until 2033 which is nice.
  3. Hooooooly... After reaching the "it'll happen when it happens" state of waiting for my husband's 10 year GC to be approved by the Potomac Service center, this morning I noticed a package from USCIS was coming soon on USPS Informed Delivery today. Went to check the case status after not checking in weeks and it FINALLY says "card was mailed to you" as of the 14th. I am so relieved for this to be done and feel awful for anyone who gets assigned YSC. Watching other service centers get approvals within 8 months to a year and we're at 30 months is soooo frustrating.
  4. Husband just got his 48 month extension letter today. Jan 2021 filer. Why in the heck is Potomac soooo slow? Guess it's time to file N400. We were waiting to see if the 10 year came at the 2 year mark, and didn't want it to get transferred right before we might be done, but it seems like there's no point in waiting now. Crazy!
  5. Hi! Not the OP, but we plan on filing under the 3 year rule for my husband later this month. Can you tell me if we need to send the piles and piles and piles of these documents trying to prove a genuine marriage like we did for I-751 or is it literally just 3 years of IRS transcripts is all that's required like the list makes it seem? It seems like filing N-400 is easier, but I dont know if I am missing something somewhere? Thanks for the help!
  6. 24 month extension letter received today. Potomac service center. *sigh*
  7. Same exact thing here. YSC service center. So weird that we got the waived letter and now have to appear this Friday. So frustrating how much slower some service centers are than others : / EDIT: Just noticed both of us are in Charlotte. Even weirder now.
  8. Anyone from YSC get a letter stating their biometrics was waived in April, and then a second letter recently later saying they have an appointment for biometrics? So super weird... Our USCIS status page says case was updated to show fingerprints were taken and we got a letter stating we didn't need to appear, but today, we got a new letter saying we have a biometrics appointment on July 23rd, so I'm super confused.
