  1. That is correct. Since the case was approved on 3/3 and I'm guessing you should've received the I-797 somewhere between March 6-11. I'm guessing the card has been sent to Kentucky for printing and you should be receiving it soon. If it goes beyond 30 days then submit a E-Request. If you have a USCIS online account, you can see the detailed status of your case.
  2. When you filed for I-485, did you also apply for I-766, Employment Authorization Document (EAD) ? if so, that should've been approved by now and she can use that until the green card arrives.
  3. Once you receive your marriage certificate, go to the nearest SSA office and get it done by yourself.
  4. Congrats ! The status "Approved" on any immigration application feels so good :)
  5. Hey, on your signature you stated that your N-400 interview was on 3/7. How did that go ?
  6. It usually takes about 2 weeks to receive the NOA1 by mail, but since you have an online account, the same is downloadable in PDF. Make sure you have notifications setup in your online account so that you receive email/text whenever there's a change in the case.
  7. That's right. On the online account it's giving me option to add more evidence and I'll attach that as soon as the merging gets official like a press release or something. Thank you !
  8. I'd say give USCIS the new address and have USPS at the new address to hold on to the mail. Additionally sign up for USPS's Informed Delivery and create an account on my.uscis.gov and you should get an email/text every time there a change in the case. For example, if the notification says "Biometrics mail sent" then keep an eye on the USPS Informed Delivery.
  9. Hello everyone, The company I'm currently working for is merging with another company. The merging process may take up to 6-8 months. I applied for N-400 on 2/23/2023 and my biometrics appointment is on 3/15/2023. I was aware of this merge about 2 weeks ago. Do I have to worry about the info I entered in the Employment section about current employer ? 1. I joined company A in 2023 and I have a offer letter from them. 2. Company B has not yet sent a press release about the merging with company A, and hopefully by the time of my interview there should be some document stating that I'm working for Company B. Will this document along with offer letter from Company A prove that I have worked for 1 employer irrespective of them merging ? Thanks !
