  1. Congratulations again!!! I’m also about to see the end of it too. Gotta apply for that passport 😮‍💨 asap.
  2. Uhmm no. We DIYd our case as it is pretty straightforward. In retrospective I guess checking the phone could be seen as such. I didn’t care much; honestly I was relived neither of us had too personal stuff LOLOLOL The second set of questions I noted were not ‘a second (or separate) portion’ of the interview. Just part of the discussion. And I highlighted them bcs both my husband and I were like: never heard of that done before. I probably had a ‘reaction’ to their follow up question bcs lately everyone puts pressure on us. But it is what it is, and we were willing to show/answer as much as needed. 🤷🏽‍♀️
  3. Yeah, I agree that it is/could be a valid immigration question if that’s their intent.
  4. Hi all, I finally had the I-751 and I-400 combo interview. Questions were the usual, and my husband was with me for both parts Removal of Conditions and Civics questions. Examples were: To my husband: Where was she born? How did you meet? To me: What's his DoB? How did you meet? How did he propose? Two things that stood out for me were: We were asked to show recent pictures from our phones, on the spot. We were asked if we had any children, and when we replied we didn't they followed up with: And why not? I suppose if you're in your 20s and have been married 5+ it's sus (?) It took me a few secs to react to answer to that one question, but anyway be prepared for something like that. Cheers!
  5. My ROC was Filed in January 2020. My ‘Priority Date’ is Jan. 20th 2020. And I’m still waiting… don’t know to laugh or cry at this point 🤷🏽‍♀️ But to the OP: Congrats!!! 🎉 One steps closer in being done with USCIS and immigration 👏🏼
  6. Hi! I-751 Starts with WAC. So that’s California’s service center I think— Western Adjudication Center. The last update (Feb 2020) says it ‘was transferred to a new office jurisdiction’ and I don’t know what that means. I-400 was filed in Jan 2021. No news past the bio appts.
  7. Wohooo!!! Such great news I’m here waiting still, with my Jan 2020 I-751 date. But this brings me hope. Best of luck!
  8. In Peru the only facility Embassy/Consulate is located in Lima, the capital. To the OP— Go there very early in the day when they open. Entry and queue management is done by the security personnel at the front. You may explain to them why you are there, and I think they’ll call someone from the appropriate unit inside.
