Talk about fear mongering. The two examples that you posted are not indication of anything extraordinary. Of course they question your claim to US citizenship if you can't provide a US passport. First example the kid didn't provide a US passport at port of entry. What do you expect to happen if you can't produce documentation? Second one? He pleaded guilty of selling cocaine and then arrested by ICE afterward. He didn't have any documentation that he was a US citizen at the time and also didn't have a lawyer. I don't feel any pity for a cocaine dealer neither ICE because they fumbled the case because they confused the name of the father. He was later released because he proved that he was in fact a US citizen. If you get asked a question at port of entry just answer truthfully and carry an unexpired US passport or foreign passport with your GC. You will be let in.

Oh and I forgot to tell you that they don't allow any visitors. Not even husband/wife.

No problem with parking. Few entrances but they will tell where to go if you try to enter to the wrong one. Like I said try to get there by 8/8:30am and you will not wait as long in line.

I was there on the 14th. They tell you to get there at 7AM but the ceremony actually starts once the judge arrives at around 10-10:30am. The wait killed the joy and we couldn't get pictures with the judge or anything resembling USCIS. Only people in the military got to take pictures. You can arrive at 8:30 so you don't have to wait in line for an hour to enter the building. Overall glad that I'm done with immigration.

Got approved 08/26 and today case updated with Oath ceremony for Sep 14th. It will be held at M.O. Campbell Education Center.

Is Houston still doing only one Oath ceremony per month? Has anyone gotten a September ceremony yet?

Why do you say that you had a complex history? Did they ask you about it?

Probably because you were out of the states longer than 6 months? Either way I think you are already approved so you don't need to worry about it.
