  1. I totally understand, been there Once this stage is done with, the next will be alot quick. Therefore, in the meantime while you wait, it's suggested that you gather all your documents or do more research on what the next stage will require. Time flies, and before you know it, it'll be done and over with soon!

  3. Thanks again NikLR! Much appreciated. I'm so stressed
  4. timeline updated, to reflect Montreal. ty for the reminder.
  5. Thanks @NikLR. Yes, I should have waited a while longer before sending my package in. I did not realize it would be so quick. Literally took under 1 week to be approved and provided with interview date. Oh snap! yesterday, CEAC shows NVC, just now it's in transit SIGH.... whom should I contact today ??? Yes, I am fully aware that I will need the CRBA for my daughter. Will need to inquire regarding that at a later date. Hopefully with the recent fee changes, within the next several months, it does not increase again!
  6. thanks @nightingalejules ! Aside from medical, I'd also have to fly ~5hrs to Montreal for the interview. Dont' want to risk anything. I'll try calling NVC tomorrow, hopefully my case is still there. Thanks again!
  7. well, according to VJ timelines, TSC is currently working on January cases. You'll probably have another 2-3 months... then again, expect no less than 5-6 months.
  8. Not sure if this post belongs here or should be under Canada. Well, our NVC case was approved earlier this week, also got our interview date for end of next month. I am currently 6 months pregnant, and before going to the interview, medical examination is required and X-ray is mandatory. As we do not want to go through with the x-ray during my pregnancy, our only option is to reschedule. If anyone has rescheduled already, how would you advise I go about in doing so? I've looked at the Packet 4 instructions, but unable to fine the cancel option or area to select new appointment date on the ais.usvisa-info.com . Any advise or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. *RESCHEDULING YOUR INTERVIEW DATE The date and time of your appointment have been carefully selected for you. However, if you are unable to attend the appointment that has been given to you, please go to ais.usvisa-info.com to select a new appointment date. There may be a significant wait before the next available appointment,so to the best of your ability please attempt to attend the date already assigned. For some family based and employment preference visa categories a visa became available within the month you have been scheduled by NVC. There is absolutely no guarantee that the visa will be available again on the date of your rescheduled interview. Please carefully consult the Visa Bulletin before you decide to reschedule you interview.
  9. If they have it already, why not give them a call and inquire. Ask for your case number. Sometimes, you'll be able to obtain case number and IIN # over the phone before the actual welcome letter arrives. Once you have the IIN #, try logging on ceac.state.gov and maybe you'll be able to go ahead with the next step in submitting your D261 and AOS fees.
  10. NP. hope it helps.. (not 100% sure if it's the same template for everyone).. In the meantime, while you waiting, it'd be worthwhile to start prepping.
  11. Once NVC receives your case, a welcome letter will be sent to you which includes a document cover sheet and how to contact NVC. (3 pages).
  12. Agreed! I also sent 2 emails. Email 1 of 2 and Email 2 of 2. First email was AOS package, and second was for the IV package. Once sent, you can call NVC to inquire after 2-3 days to confirm whether it was received.
  13. Both are accepted. By sending your package via email, it saves quite a bit of time and also saves courier fees, also save you from asking yourself whether the package was received, or lost etc.... We sent out package last week via email and was approved in just under 1 week, also got an interview date! Regardless of which method you decide to send your package, wish you all the best and good luck!
