  1. In that case all you can do is wait right now. If you cancel the I130 I believe it could also cancel your AOS package since that package is based on the initial I130 (others may know better). Good Luck!
  2. NYC is a big joke legally. If what this defense lawyer said is even half true, this judge needs to be disbarred.
  3. I like Musk, particularly his no-nonsense approach to free speech, but he seems a lot more like Billy Durant then Alfred Sloan. Good at realizing dreams, but not really great at actually managing a big company. Time will tell, but at some point, just announcing something will not keep the stock price up.
  4. Yes, the woke "progressive" left can be a fickle bunch. That being said, and yes that is part of the issue, but not the entirety of Tesla's problems. As I alluded, other than the CT, Tesla has no new product or major facelifts in the pipeline. It seems they are putting the supposed Model 2 on the back burner, so by the time a major facelift for existing models shows up the Model Y will be close to 8-9 years old. People buying new cars are not looking for a car that looks like the car someone else bought 8 years ago (even Apple and Samsung know you cannot keep selling things without even minor hardware/styling updates). Then there is the entire strategy of lowing prices willy nilly which really upsets recent buyers and stifles the used car values. We shall see what happens, but if Tesla is pivoting toward full steam AV, that would seem a mistake to keep the company viable long-term.
  5. Requests for refunds and lawsuits should be next. Ivy league schools are a complete waste of money, but apparently some people want to pay a great deal of money to learn to become bigots and terrorists.
  6. Just to be clear, you already have your GC from a previous US entry? Assuming that is the case, and it seems to be, only the first entry of someone with an IR1 has to be after or with the USC petitioner. Good Luck!
  7. I don't know for certain, but NVC is more of a clearing house to make sure the required documents are uploaded, it does not make decisions of visa eligibility. I agree with @milimelo, once the case gets to NVC, you can delay it indefinitely as long as you make contact (such as accessing your case) at least once every 12 months, so wait until you are close to fulfilling the HRR before proceeding, and the consulate will make the final decision. Good Luck!
  8. So now Biden reversed the Trump era Title IX rules eliminating due process. How democratic of him. New Title IX Rules Erase Campus Due Process Protections https://reason.com/2024/04/19/new-title-ix-rules-erase-campus-due-process-protections/
  9. I just went back to the N400 instructions and apparently they changed as of April 1, 2024. They used to have a long list of evidence to bring to the interview (tax info, divorce decrees, etc.), but the new instructions pepper that verbiage throughout (how nice). Anyway, if you are including tax information, or other items even under the 5 yr rule you can upload it in the additional information section. Not sure why it is asking about child support, does she have children from a previous relationship.
  10. That and the CBP carrier guide. Sometimes you have to educate the airline clerks, and others. This is somewhat off topic, but often prior to COVID my wife and I would route through Beijing when traveling to Central Russia, I don't know how many people I had to educate that neither her nor I needed a China visa since China allowed 24 hr visa free transit. https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2023-Nov/Carrier Information Guide ENGLISH.pdf
  11. I do not know the answer to that question, but if the initial CBP officer thinks they are seeing deception, you may be referred to secondary inspection and be subjected to more detailed questions. One of the things I see is if you have a two week visit booked, but plan a longer stay, how much luggage will you bring? These are things a CBP officer may notice.
  12. Regardless of your plan, you can only stay for the duration CBP allows. If an officer sees a return ticket for 2 weeks out, they could authorize your stay for only two weeks. Also what do you do if CBP sends you to secondary and they want to review your social media posts? You are not required to offer any information to CBP other than to answer their questions truthfully (purpose of visit along with who you plan to visit are fairly common questions), and you seem to have a plan on an open social media website planning to attempt a deception. As I mentioned before, not a good plan.
