According to our Congressman, our petition is stuck at the NVC while waiting for the last name clearance check to arrive from Moscow. They said it could take months but we hope this is not really true. Our petition is still in "processing" - not "administrative review."

Do any of you have any idea why they would be doing a name clearance check in Moscow? If any of you have actual experience with this, how long did your fiancee's Moscow name check take?
