helpsmilie.gif Hey I need help here. I'm waiting for my AOS appointment and I've planned a trip to HK on the 14th. I just received email notice that my AP is approved and sent on the 6th. Anyone have any clue how long it'll take for me to receive the documentatin? And if I don't receive my AP before the 14th, can I leave the country with just the email approval? Will I be barred from entry if I leave the country knowing that my AP is approved but without receiving the actual AP? Is the email notification of approval sufficient enough? Any thoughts?

You should not leave until you have the AP in hand.... if it gets lost in the mail and you have already left you will be stuck.... wait for the paperwork to arrive and then you can travel with peace of mind knowing that all is ok...

The email approval is not enough. You should not leave until you have the actual AP in hand. If you leave before if arrives, and it gets lost or any problems, you wont be able to enter back into the US with just that email approval.
