I have a question about the processing times:

How come the N400 processing times are published with the local offices and not the service centers?
Don't we send the N400 to the respective service center (TSC, CSC, NSC and VSC)?

edited to add: wrong forum, can a mod please move to naturalization forum. thanks.
kud
Interviews are at the local centers. Swearing in ceremonies are also set at the local centers.

I do think this is a stupid question. But I sometimes will ask this kind of question, too. Do not worry about that. The service centers are handling the initial paper works which include the data entry, case # creation, biometric appointment scheduling. After that, they will just transfer your application to your local office for interview and ceremony. Each local office has different work load. The service center can not give you appropriate estimate. That is how it works. Good luck.

So for once I will not depend on the punks at TSC to process the important part of my case?! Wonderful! kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif
