Hi.

I am new here, and have got a bunch of information from your amazing forums so thank you.

However here's where we are:

Filed the papers Feb/07 for spousal visa (I130) and we have received the notice from the NVC that both have been completed (129 and 130) as of November 2, 2007. (there was a delay because of my lawyer sitting on his butt for a month when they asked for paperwork!!)

It's going to be with Montreal.

My question:
If everything goes well, and ... when do you guys think the interview will be in Montreal? I mean, I know the dates go out by mid month every time, but if we were luck enough to get in the next batch, does that mean our interview would be Jan? Or is Montreal backlogged?

ANY information is helpul, and thanks in advance for reading and helping if you can.

Michelle.

Check the Canada forum. They have a list going where they are tracking both the I-129f and the I-130s. (and please fill out your time line)

The wait time for an interview at MTL is in between 4-6 months. Sad, but true.

Now this may seem silly.... but does that mean from the day that the file is complete that it's 4-6 months to get a interview date/letter, or that from the day you get the interview letter it's 4-6 months in advance?

Thanks so much for your assistance, and if someone wants to move then to Canada area that's okay.. (sorry)
