Hello VJ family. Our NOA1 is july 18, and up till this date, we still dont have our NOA2, not even touches. I got to check the timelines for some july filers (same service center and country) and alot of july filers already are having their case approved, even those with NOA1 later than july 18. crying.gif

Am just really worried about this. we also did not receive any RFE (oh please dont!) luv.gif ohmy.gif

So am asking for anybody's insight on this. Do you think its high time for me to buzz USCIS? or this is just normal? crying.gif

Thank you so much....
StillThePrettiest
it's normal wink.gif

we've got an NOA1 date of July 19, so I know the frustration of seeing people being approved all around you... but remember the sheer scale of this operation; they're not processing the petitions in strict order, because they simply can't; they're working on the general period of 'late June to early August' at the moment, and so we're right bang in the middle there, and should hear something soon smile.gif

try not to stress smile.gif
niceguy26
I would call them and see if its atleast with an officer yet. Might give you peace of mind
Scott and Marta
I would like to consider it to not to be "normal" cuz 3 months of waiting should be enough whistling.gif But thatīs another story..
lady_anne
thank you for all the replies...

stilltheprettiest - you gave me peace of mind. its really disappointing to wait and wait for NOA2, but am sure its worth it. And yes, we are in the middle, so soon, so so soon, we will have our NOA2!

Just one question -anybody who got the idea about the time CSC moves their petitions approved to NVC? is it something like per batch? I mean for now, like they are processing late june till early august - will that mean when they get to approved all these filers from this time frame, thats the time they will send all the approved papers to NVC? (do i make sense??hehehe)

please let me know. thank you so much again and more power
Scott and Marta
yup they seem to be sending it in batches...those batches make no sense though...guys who get approved 3 weeks after somebody might get to NVC two weeks before the first approved guys...just weird
lady_anne
it doesn't make sense indeed. wacko.gif

so if the processing time is for late june to early august filers, then you think that will cover late november till late december??? if so, anybody who got some ideas as to the expected time for these filers to have their interview? you think come april or may? will it be possible to have it feb or march??? whistling.gif
StillThePrettiest
interview times depend very much on the consulates involved... some are very quick; some quite the opposite
there are places here where you can check average times for your particular consulate smile.gif

as for the rest - well, while Marta's point about what SHOULD be is very good, we're stuck discussing what IS, and I just wouldn't try to look for too much logic in this whole process, especially where dates are concerned... I have a vague memory that USCIS uses a contractor to move things from the service centres to NVC, so that's another variable in the mix; we just don't know if there's any very organised process to all this, or if they're playing catch-up there as well

my GUESS is, based on what we're seeing, that most July filers will have their NOA2 before Christmas, but when petitions will get to NVC, and THEN when interviews will be scheduled, is far more up in the air wacko.gif

sorry to not give you anything more concrete, but I just don't think it's possible
lady_anne
thank you stilltheprettiest.... yes.gif
Jeraly
Hey - my NOA1 is Jul 20 and yeah - there are a couple of people who have been approved that filed later than us but most of them have been before so I am not worrying too much yet...

We've called CSC a couple of times now and all they told us was that our case hadn't been assigned so didn't really give us peace of mind laughing.gif It'll all come in time smile.gif
lady_anne
it sure makes more sense now. I just hope our case will be assigned soon. i still hope we get the NOA2 before the week of december 17 (please????) crying.gif
