Canada, Mexico, and the Neighboring Islands in the Caribbean. They recognize the I-551 green-card and do not require a visa to visit them.

Any country having a visa waiver with Russia you can visit, but if you had to have a visa before getting green-card you will still need one after.

The list for you is attached.

Not all of these countries let you in because you have a gc - most don't require a visa just because you're a Russian citizen. Also, there are lots of countries that stamp a visa upon entry, they're not on the list.

I don't know about all of Europe, but for those Schengen countries, you'll need a Schengen Visa. My sister-in-law is from Lithuania and unless she is going there, she needed to get a VISA. With the Schengen, they had to get the approval from each of the 15 countries. One embassy did the legwork, but it needed the approval from all. Check out http://www.eurovisa.info/

No more visa for Switzerland. Other EU countries - same rules as without a GC.

Where a visa is required, it is a rather straightforward application process that includes submitting your passport and permanent resident card to the embassy, usually no interview is required.

Neat, thanks for the list!

There's a link for visa requirements on the Delta Airlines site. I'm unsure of where it is, but it's been posted on here several times and if you go to the website, you could probably find it on there somewhere.

Thanks, this is great since it also handles transit countries.

Thanks to slim too.
