Captain Ewok
It is very likely that smileygenerator.us has been hacked to show really bad images instead of the normal ones. I wanted to let you know that this has nothing to do with VJ however I have contacted them to make them aware of the issue since so many people here use their images.

Really bad images...as in vulgar? unsure.gif
Jenn!
"really bad images"

Word. laughing.gif
Captain Ewok
I am not sure if it is isolated to certain things on their site but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up just in case! smile.gif
Captain Ewok
Update: They have removed the two example images that I sent them that were "bad". Hopefully this is isolated on their servers. I will let you know if they email back.

As in maggoty flesh (not sure what the body part was). It was so, so nasty! I am scarred for life as a result of being exposed to those images. helpsmilie.gif

Lol - luckily my stomach isn't that delicate so I spent a good five minutes trying to figure out what body part it was from... Then I gave up and figured it would get sorted laughing.gif I have seen much worse though I am not sure that is a good thing!!

Thanks Ewok to going to all the trouble to get it sorted biggrin.gif

Actually, having thought about it (and I think I spent far too long thinking about it!) it was pics of maggot therapy; where they use maggots to eat the dead flesh in wounds, rather than someone with maggots in their wounds unintentionally.

As to what body part it was I am still at a loss!
StillThePrettiest
I didn't study it for very long, but to me it looked like a shot looking vertically down at a wound in someone's hip or thereabouts... you could see part of the leg, as they were sitting
at least, that what I saw before I shut my eyes tight wink.gif

Serioulsy, it looked like giant fish lips protruding from a hariy leg.

Maggot therapy. *shudders*

I have NO idea why some people were seeing that image. blink.gif

I had a few emails about it but no one said anything about maggots.

The image that was supposed to be shown is just a flashing box with a notice that the link was expired.

I thought the flashing was what people were making a big fuss over unsure.gif

We're getting over 6 million image hits a month and almost a 3rd of that is for images that no longer exist or never existed.
So the error404 image was supposed to annoy the offending posters enough to remove or update the bad links.

But I think some previous bannage of greedy users was tripping other defenses and htaccess got a little confused wink.gif

No wonder it's been a rough day wacko.gif

FYI., Dynamic Countdown sigs are limited to one per client. Some were posting 3 and more per post and that's really impossible for any server to keep up with for long wink.gif

The image you should have seen is attached (I think)
