Happy to announce that my visa was approved yesterday In Frankfurt! It was all about having the required documents, the Consul himself didn't ask any questions except where I met my fiance. Then he took my fingerprints and made me swear that all I have said was the truth....that was it!

Lora, I'm so sorry you had to go thru all that, but I'm glad they've sent it on to Lima. That's got to be a enormous relief. .. and I'm glad you had a congressman that did something.
(I'm endlessly amused that I STILL haven't heard anything from my senator's office even though I sent them a whole packet of papers and information requesting help in January. What a crap system!)
Just an update...
The NVC center, the DOS, and my congressmans office have all requested that our packet be transfered to
Vancouver (end of last week)....I do not know a time frame on this...the Vancouver office said that they would
process it when it came in....it would be great to get the packet end of this week...that would be the best case scenario
but more realistic would be next week....the congressmans office said is we did not hear anything this week they would
contact them next week to see if our packet had been received....wish there was a way to track this....

Happy to announce that my visa was approved yesterday In Frankfurt! It was all about having the required documents, the Consul himself didn't ask any questions except where I met my fiance. Then he took my fingerprints and made me swear that all I have said was the truth....that was it!

Yeah Charlene......Oscar and I filled out all the paperwork and sent it back to them now we are waiting for an interview date.........I hope before the Washington Cherry Blossoms go away......What a first look that will be for us to look down on Washington in bloom..........I hope and pray.......Lora
