well...4 people were approved yesterday at the VSC....3 from Sept.and 1 from July....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Let's hope and pray that they will clear out our remaining June and July petitions next week!!!!

Yes...lets hope so....I still have about 26 still remaining in July and 5 from June...
of course this is just those that are at the VSC and that are on the VJ web site...I sure wish that I had some
idea how many actual application for K1 were filed at the VSC in the month of June and the month of July....
This could tell us whether we have a long wait or possibly nearing approval...

I'm hoping. I really want to plan my wedding someday! I keep getting catalogs in the mail for invitations and save the dates and I keep having to put them in a pile. If I look at them I get frustrated. But, hopefully soon for all of us may, june and july filers! (are there any april filers left or have those all been cleared?)

I looked and saw only 1 from VSC....and 11 from May from VSC...as I stated before I am sure this is a representation of a bigger percentage...

There are a few May filers left out there, but about 3 weeks or so ago I combed through the May and June filers still waiting, and it did seem like a lot of them were inactive. I think you're right, there are some filers who never bothered to update their timelines for whatever reason. So I would really only count May filers who are actively posting as "real" filers.

Here's what I found out about the pending May filers... it looks like only two of them have been active in January:

Hells no they aren't working today!!!!!!! It's VSC, come on!!!!

On the pending May filers, Manuel and Lannie (pananmania79) is like us...their application was received by Vermont on May 9....however it
took till July 24 to get their NOA1.......the same thing happened to us....it was received in May and took till August to get the NOA1...

They would should be considered a May filer since USCIS is saying that they go by the received date not the date the NOA1 was sent.

Lets just all hope for a miracle that they will come back to work and find the missing crate!!!!!!

I called NVC to see if the package was sent to Syria yet - made the call on the 18th, I had rcv'd the letter from NVC and been told by my Congressman's office that it would be sent out that week - so I get this real ditzy woman on the phone who tells me that it was sent electronically that day but hadn't been sent physically yet and that the embassy wouldn't schedule the appointment until they had it in hand physically.

Nicole: So how long will it take for them to get the papers in Syria?

Dumb A$$ NVC Rep: Oh About 8-10 WEEKS!

Nicole: Excuse me??

DA NVC Rep: Yes 8-10 Weeks

Nicole: Ummm Why so long?

DA NVC Rep: Well it has to get through customs....

I couldn't say anything other than thanks for your help and i hung up!

Meanwhile the papers I sent ( and I am not a gov't agency) on Monday got to him on Sunday easily making it through customs!

WTF! All i can do is laugh!!

just checking in to say hello. sorry i've been so out of touch. i started to get depressed because of our RFE and stayed away till we figured something out. the good news is that i'm back in the States and got our papers together and sent them in for the RFE yesterday.
keeping our fingers crossed that VSC will look at it quickly!

congratulations Mirla for such a speedy interview! can i be envious and hope that the same thing happens for us?!

and congrats to all the other recent approvals! i promised myself that i wasn't going to check the USCIS website until next week to see if the RFE arrived. wish me luck!

I AM FURIOUS that there are still May, June and July filiers waiting. This is completely unacceptable. This system has to change!!!!!

thanks guys. Im very excited. I was away visiting with my honey, and just came back last night. I signed on this morning to see this. It just lit my day up.

I am on my way to Peru to see Oscar for the first time since June...........I still have heard nothing from VSC on the RFE.......been since Jan 7th since they recieved it........I hope by the time I get back next Tuesday we will know something.....It will be 230 days or 8 months on the 30th.......I am so very tired of being ignored by them but they hold all the card.....Oh well at least I will be able to look into Oscar's eyes and tell him how much I love him and how sorry I am that my government is so inept.......see ya guys

This is all I have seen so far today...

as far as I've understood from her post panamania's lawyer (May filer,NOA1 in July) got an RFE today. I just saw one of her posts in another thread....

Not that it is a big deal, but I realized I had a small bug with the list generation... if someone had created multiple identical timelines (I assume accidentally) and only listed their NOA2 on one of them, the other would still appear in the waiting list. Accounting for this, there are 5 total less pending: 2 in May, 1 in June, and 2 in October.

So again - it isn't great that there are any, but I think that there are actually only 7 pending in May instead of 9 in the timeline system right now. (And probably only 2 of those are currently active members.)

And even though it is meaningless (since it doesn't mean that VSC is clearing any faster), I was happy to see my name move a quick 5 slots up the list.

I emailed a couple of people who sent in in July to see if they had just failed to update their timeline....
Erin and Koska (Greece...July 30) received theirs in Dec. and had not updated but have now...

That puts those who sent in in July down to 23.

I just may have to call the VSC again out of pure FRUSTRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
