Hello my fellow VJERS,

Hi everybody! I need some advice from you guys regarding K-2 VISA requirements, rules, guidelines and procedure. This is our situation, my husband ( U.S Citizen ) and I ( Adjustment of Status in process ) have plan to bring my daughter from the Philippines here with us. Assuming her visa is approved, got in the USA and be able to changed her status to permanent residence or green card holder, is she can fly back and forth to the Philippines? do we need to request for permit for her to study in the Philippines holding green card as our dependent then come back in the USA every end of school year? Basically we want her to stay with us here during summer every year but we wanted her to continue study in the Phillipines. Please if you had the same experience that we have right now, I will be happy to hear from you. Thanks a lot and advance Merry X-mas. star_smile.gif

She will need AP, that will take a few months.

When she is a PR as long as she maintains the US as her permanent residency and visits PI to continue Education, should not be a problem, quite common.
